Notes |
A
regional classic, Mount Pleasant Elizabeth Semillon
has established itself as one Australia’s
benchmark Semillons. The wine enjoys approximately
four years cellaring prior to release, ensuring
wine
lovers can enjoy the wine at its peak.
The first vintage
of Elizabeth was released in 1967 under
the varietal name ‘Hunter Riesling’.
The wine was correctly labeled Semillon
from the 1982 vintage. Usually released
after four years bottle age, Elizabeth
Semillon stands as a classic, benchmark
example of the uniquely Australian Hunter
Valley Semillon style.
