Friends of Mount Pleasant
Terms and Conditions of Membership:
1.
Membership is only open to persons 18 years old or
over.
2. Only members recorded on the Mount Pleasant Estate membership database are
eligible to receive entitlements associated with the Friends of Mount Pleasant
and/or Wine Club membership.
3. Friends of Mount Pleasant and Wine Club membership beneüts are detailed in
the “Become a Friend of Mount Pleasant” ¤yer available on request
from Mount Pleasant Estate.
4. Friends of Mount Pleasant and/or Wine Club membership will be activated once
your application form is completed, submitted and accepted by Mount Pleasant
Estate. Membership cards may take a minimum of four (4) weeks to be received
after the acceptance of your application. All entitlements associated with Friends
of Mount Pleasant and/or Wine Club membership can be accessed once members have
submitted their application forms and they have been accepted.
5. To cancel Friends of Mount Pleasant and/or Wine Club membership, members must
send written or email notiücation of desired cancellation to Mount Pleasant Estate
at the address detailed in condition 15. Membership will be cancelled once the
member has been contacted by Mount Pleasant Estate and cancellation is conürmed.
Only the authorized owner of the membership card may cancel membership.
6. To receive discounts off wine purchases and to be eligible for bonus points,
members must quote their membership card number on phone, fax or email orders
or provide the membership card to Mount Pleasant Estate staff members at the
time of purchase at the Mount Pleasant Estate cellar door.
7. Only Wine Club members are eligible to receive double bonus points accumulated
with every purchase, unless speciüed by Mount Pleasant Estate in the form of
a special offer.
8. By joining the Wine Club, members are making a ünancial commitment to purchase
2 x 12 bottle Estate wine packs (currently valued at $390 for both packs – subject
to price variations) and/or 1 x 12 bottle Cellar Series wine pack (currently
valued at $500 – subject to price variations) from Mount Pleasant Estate
each year. The initial year commences on the date your membership application
is approved. Subsequent years commence on the anniversary of the date your membership
application was approved. Members agree to provide Mount Pleasant Estate with
authority to directly debit the nominated credit card prior to despatch of each
Mount Pleasant Estate wine pack. While members are responsible for deciding the
style of wine pack they would like to receive i.e. white, red or mixed, through
the Mount Pleasant Wine Club, Mount Pleasant Estate will choose speciüc wines
to make up the wine pack to üt within the nominated style speciüed by members.
9. Members agree to notify Mount Pleasant Estate in writing if their nominated
credit card details change or the card is lost or cancelled.
10. All wine packs delivered will be sent to the address speciüed on the membership
application form. Wine packs must be signed for and the person receipting the
wine pack must be 18 years of age or over. Members are responsible for notifying
Mount Pleasant Estate should their address details change from that speciüed
on the application form. Mount Pleasant Estate is not responsible for additional
postage fees should wine packs be sent to an old and or incorrectly provided
address.
11. Members are required to inform staff of Elizabeth’s at Mount Pleasant
Estate that they are members at the time of booking, to enable them to receive
their 10% discount on meals, beverages and condiments. Members will be required
to verify this with their membership card at the time of payment.
12. Members of the Wine Club will receive a complimentary free gift with receipt
of their ürst wine pack. This gift is subject to change pending availability.
13. Wine availability is subject to change without notice.
14. Pricing information as detailed on order forms accompanying the quarterly
Mount Pleasant Estate newsletter is subject to change without notice.
15. Friends of Mount Pleasant and Wine Club membership is administered by Mount
Pleasant Wines Pty Limited, ABN 98 000 024 813, Marrowbone Road, Pokolbin, NSW,
2320. Mount Pleasant Wines Pty Limited is owned by McWilliam’s Wines Pty
Limited ABN 36 000 024 108 (McWilliam’s) and is committed to protecting
the privacy and personal information collected and held. McWilliams honours the
Privacy Act and the National Privacy Principles. Personal information collected
will be used to process and administer your Friends of Mount Pleasant and/or
Wine Club membership. Personal information maybe used to inform you of Mount
Pleasant wines and events and other McWilliam’s wines that maybe of interest
to you. Personal information will be entered into a secure database and is available
on request for you to access, update, correct and remove if you so wish by writing
to the Privacy Ofücer, Mount Pleasant Estate, PO Box 17, Cessnock, NSW 2325.

When conducting promotions, McWilliam's typically collects the following personal
information:
Your name, address and telephone number
Your gender and age group
Place of purchase of product
When you send McWilliam's e-mail we temporarily store your e-mail address.
When you visit our various wineries you may be invited (but not obligated)
to sign mailing lists that typically request the following personal information:
Name, address, Telephone/Fax/E-mail Address

We collect the personal information requested on your Credit Application to
verify your business details and to manage our business relationship with you
which includes:
Sending you correspondence in relation to products or services you have acquired
or to provide details of future product releases, services and promotions.
Notifying you of any changes to our trading terms and conditions.
Enabling us to administer your account.
Enabling us to protect you and ourselves from fraud.
The information collected from promotions allows us to contact any winners
of such promotions. The information acquired may be collectively (not individually)
entered into a database and used for future promotional purposes.
When we receive e-mails, your e-mail, address is temporarily stored so that
we may respond to your e-mail. Your e-mail address is not added to any database.
The personal information collected on winery mailing lists is used to inform
you of new product releases and promotions.

McWilliams does not sell, rent, trade or otherwise
supply to third parties any personal information obtained from you unless
you consent. We may contract marketing organisations to conduct our various
promotions. In the course of conducting the promotions these organisations
will collect entries and notify winners on our behalf. The promotional
entries are temporarily kept after the completion of the promotion for
winner validation purposes. The promotional organisations may enter the
personal details recorded on the promotion entries into a database for
future promotional purposes.

against the loss, misuse and/or alteration of personal information under
its control. These security measures include but are not limited to restricted
password controlled access, firewalls and employee agreements requiring
confidentiality.
