McWilliam's
Mount Pleasant Verdelho
| Awards | Tasting
Notes |
A
wine style fast gaining a strong following
among wine lovers, Mount Pleasant Verdelho
offers a rich palate of fruit flavours.
Verdelho, a
Portugese white grape from the Atlantic
island of Madeira, is ideally suited
to the sub tropical influences of the
Hunter Valley climate, and was first
planted in the 1830s. Picked when the
grapes are fully ripened (around February)
the wine is made in a style to maximise
its intense and zesty fruit flavours.
This refreshing wine is wonderfully
suited for summer drinking and the
Australian outdoor lifestyle.
